Nick is a leading Jewish Anti-Zionist scholar who helped found the discipline of visual culture. David is a poet, playwright, writer and a member of the Advisory Board of the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel. They’ll talk about visibility and solidarity.

Join political theorist, curator and writer Françoise Vergès to delve deeper into her latest book, A Programme of Absolute Disorder: Decolonizing the Museum, which dissects the colonial ideology that relies on, sustains and creates Western art traditions. Reflecting on the need for a radical overhaul, Vergès will share insights into the possibilities of a ‘post-museum’.

Psychoanalyst and author Lara Sheehi in conversation with Hannah Proctor. Lara explodes the naïve claim to neutrality of normative psychiatric care. Her concept of ‘psychic intrusions’ helps to identify the ways power seeks to mould the consciousness of the people it seeks to subjugate. Her idea of notion of ‘psychic militancy’ maps the resistance to such attempts.

Where has art stood in the Nakba's perpetration? Nakba in the Room is a live film; improvised, wrestled and unmade in real space and time by two of the most brilliant film performance makers we've worked with.

Content Notes: This is an improvised video performance which may make use of archival and found footage, including documentation of war zones and sites of genocidal violence. Some of the imagery may be upsetting or disturbing.
Dinner will be served by Soul Food Sisters in the Café (6-7pm).

Accessible toilets are available on all three levels of Tramway, and come equipped with handrails and emergency pull cords. Please contact Tramway prior to your visit if you have any additional requirements

Assistance dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for an assistance dog. The assistance dog toilet area is located to the rear of the building.
Assistance dogs are allowed in the auditorium.
Wheelchair access
There is level access to all Tramway spaces and the cafe, with lift access to the upper spaces.
There are designated spaces for wheelchair users in the theatre.

Full table service is not available. Food or drinks can be ordered at the counter and will be brought to the table.
No tables are permanently fixed. No chairs are permanently fixed.
Menus are hand held only, but are clearly presented in contrasting colours. Menus are not available in Braille.

At times, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
The public are only permitted to record and take photos where explicit permission has been granted in advance.
Free wifi
There is free Wi-Fi available at Tramway, which you can access by registering through Facebook or an online form. Once registered, you can access free Wi-Fi whenever you are at Tramway.
Please note, Tramway does not offer a cloakroom or bag storage service. During large-scale and busy events bag searches may be in operation and bags larger than A3 size will not be admitted to the venue.
