Discover the joy of writing in a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment at our informal writing group.
Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply curious to give it a try, this group offers an opportunity to explore your creativity, share ideas and discover how writing can support your wellbeing. Through a range of writing prompts and activities, you’ll have the chance to develop a regular writing practice, explore your thoughts and emotions, and enjoy time for reflection and self-expression.
The group is for adults whose first language isn’t English. You’re welcome to write in English or in your own language, and people of all writing abilities are encouraged to take part, as long as they feel comfortable participating in writing activities and group discussions.
Led by a member of staff from Woodside Library, this is an informal, non-accredited group for anyone with an interest in writing. No previous experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to give it a go!
Come along, meet others and discover what writing can mean to you.
Contact Woodside Library to sign up.
